Beulah Blanche BLACK
Born 21 May 1901 in Platte Twp., Taylor Co., IA, to
Patrick McFarland BLACK and
Laura Elizabeth FLAKE.
Lived briefly as a child in Siloam Springs, Benton County, Arkansas.
Grew up in Fredonia, Wilson County, Kansas, and graduated from high
school there. Attended Chillicothe Business College in Chillicothe,
Missouri and then went to work in Kansas City, Missouri,
where she met her future husband, George. Their parents lived two
doors apart on Lydia Street in Kansas City.
Married 16 February 1923 in Kansas City, Missouri to
George Watkins ANDERSON.
After marriage, lived a few years in Kansas City,
where their eldest son, George, was born, and then a few years in
Hays, Kansas, where James was born.
